Tehran: people in Enqelab Avenue near Tehran University chanted “Death to the dictator.” In Enqelab Square people chanted “Don’t be afraid, we are all united”. The students of Tehran University took part in the protest and chanted “Reformists and hardliners, this game is over”, “Seyed Ali [Khamenei] shame on you, shame on you. Vacate power”, “Sorry Seyed Ali [Khamenei], it’s time to go!” and “Death to the dictator”. The security forces tried to close the gates of the university and prevent the students from leaving the campus, but the students clashed with them and the security forces fired tear gas. Anti-riot guards on motorcycles charged at the students with batons but because of the resistance of the students they were forced to leave the scene. The regime brought in water cannons to central Tehran.

Kermanshah: Despite mobilization of the suppressive forces, people took to the streets on Saturday once again. They chanted “Forget Gaza and Lebanon; I’ll sacrifice my life for Iran”. At the entrance of Beheshti Boulevard, in order to block the path of the suppressive forces, people threw dustbins and banners in the middle of the street. Security forces tried to arrest people. The paramilitary Bassij forces entered the scene to help the suppressive forces in arresting protesters. Water cannons were also brought in.
