The Spring 2021 edition of the International Tennis Federation’s official magazine, ITFWorld, has been published and can be read here

Canada’s Leylah Annie Fernandez, Nadia Podoroska of Argentina and Mexico’s Renata Zarazua preview the Billie Jean King Cup by BNP Paribas Play-offs – the first ties since the competition’s rebrand. Japan’s Shingo Kunieda looks ahead to the Paralympic Games on home soil, while Sebastian Korda and a number of other players with famous parents discuss the inevitable scrutiny and pressure of a famous surname

Elsewhere in the magazine, two highly rated players, Italy’s Lorenzo Musetti and Oksana Selekhmeteva of Russia are the latest to go under the spotlight and face a quickfire round of 25 questions. Alexandra Eala of the Philippines, one of 15 players to receive an International Junior Player Grant from the ITF in 2021, discusses her first professional title and that Instagram post from Rafael Nadal.

ITFWorld also takes a trip around Central America with ITF Development Officer Cecilia Ancalmo as she discusses the development of tennis in each of the 10 ITF member nations there and ITF President, David Haggerty, uses his welcome address to look ahead to the remainder of the year, both professionally and personally.
