Ties announced for 2022 Billie Jean King Cup by BNP Paribas Play-offs
The International Tennis Federation (ITF) has announced the eight ties in the 2022 Billie Jean King Cup by BNP Paribas Play-offs to be played on 11-12 November 2022.
The draw, which took place at the ITF offices in London on Thursday afternoon, sees 16 nations competing in eight Play-off ties on a home-and-away basis. Seeds were based on the latest Billie Jean King Cup Nations Ranking.
Each tie will consist of five matches: two singles matches on Friday 11 November, and two singles matches followed by a doubles match on Saturday 12 November.
The winning nations from the 2022 Play-offs will advance to the 2023 Qualifiers, while losing nations will compete in their respective regional Group I event in 2023.
The 2022 Billie Jean King Cup by BNP Paribas Finals will take place in Glasgow, Great Britain on 8-13 November. Details of the draw for the Finals will be announced in due course.
