On September 18 at 3pm CEST, the Rome MED Dialogues will land in Washington D.C. for the last event of our Regional Meeting series. This Regional Meeting is co-promoted by ISPI and the Atlantic Council, and will focus on “New Power Dynamics in the MENA Region after the Ukraine Crisis”. In D.C., we will set the stage for an in-depth discussion about the role of external powers in the MENA affairs, and the way an increased multipolar MENA region responds to shifts and changes within the international system. Through contributions of leading scholars and experts, we will first explore international and regional alliances, also with a view to make forecasts on the possible evolutions of existing and new partnerships. Then, the Regional Meeting will focus more in-detail on the Eastern Mediterranean and North African regional scenarios.
