Conchita Martinez brings a taste of the
women’s World Cup of Tennis to Seville
Five-time champion and 2023 Billie Jean King Cup by Gainbridge Finals Tournament Director, Conchita Martinez paid a special visit to Real Club Tenis Pineda in Seville this week to meet local players.
She gave them a unique insight into her experience of representing her nation in the women’s World Cup of Tennis on 53 occasions throughout a glittering career. She also invited 10 local female players to attend the Billie Jean King Cup Finals at La Cartuja Stadium in Seville. Read more about the special session with Conchita Martinez here.
This year’s Billie Jean King Cup Finals will take place from 7-12 November on indoor hard courts at La Cartuja Stadium. 12 teams will compete for the coveted trophy and don the iconic Billie Blue Jackets, designed by official Billie Jean King Cup apparel partner Tory Burch.
