Star names set for 2023 Billie Jean King Cup by Gainbridge Qualifiers

The 2023 Billie Jean King Cup by Gainbridge Qualifiers (14-15 April) are less then a month away, and we can confirm there are some superstars set to compete for the women’s World Cup of Tennis this year.
All 18 nations taking part in the Qualifiers have now confirmed their teams with Poland’s world No.1 Iga Swiatek and Kazakhstan’s 2022 Wimbledon Champion Elena Rybakina included in a stellar line up of 84 players. |
The list includes no fewer than four Grand Slam singles champions (Bianca Andreescu (CAN), Barbora Krejcikova (CZE), Rybakina and Swiatek) and five other players who have reached at least one Grand Slam singles final – Danielle Collins (USA), Leylah Fernandez (CAN), Coco Gauff (USA), Madison Keys (USA) and Marketa Vondrousova (CZE)
The nine winning nations from the Qualifiers will join 2022 champions Switzerland and 2022 runners-up Australia at the 2023 Billie Jean King Cup by Gainbridge Finals on 7-12 November. The 12th nation competing at the Finals will be announced once the Finals host is confirmed. |
