Woman entrepreneur named as first Tory Burch Sports Fellowship founder

The Tory Burch Foundation and International Tennis Federation (ITF) have named Trisha Goyal, creator of Break The Love, as the first Tory Burch Sports Fellowship founder, following a three-month selection process.

Goyal designed Break Sports to create the largest online destination for recreational sports for casual enthusiasts starting with its first category Break the Love for racquet sports. Re-inventing the racquet sports club for the next generation, Break The Love was launched to help people play tennis during the pandemic and aims to provide a one-stop shop for players and “drop-in” tennis clubs. Created by players for players based on interests, level, & location, since its 2019 launch, Break The Love has acquired over 120,000 Users and booked $2.5m in revenue.

Empowered by the ITF Advantage All gender equality programme, the Tory Burch Sports Fellowship rewards women sports entrepreneurs who seek solutions to global challenges in the sports sector. The Fellowship programme includes a $5,000 educational grant from the Tory Burch Foundation, access to 0% interest loans and one-on-one coaching. Tory Burch is a Global Partner of the Billie Jean King Cup by Gainbridge – the women’s World Cup of Tennis.
